Drivers traveling eastbound on Interstate 70 should plan for an overnight ramp closure at Wentzville Parkway this weekend.
According to the Missouri Department of Transportation, the eastbound I-70 exit ramp to Wentzville Parkway—Exit 208—will close overnight Friday, September 11, and Saturday, September 12.
The ramp will be closed from 8 p.m. until 8 a.m. each night, weather permitting.
Alternate Route
Eastbound drivers who need to reach Wentzville Parkway can use David Hoekel Parkway—Exit 206—and continue east along West Pearce Boulevard/North Service Road.
Drivers should allow additional travel time, follow posted work-zone speed limits and remain alert for construction crews and changing traffic patterns.
Drainage Work at the Ramp
Crews will install a drainage structure at the Wentzville Parkway ramp. This is the second closure required to complete the drainage work. An earlier closure occurred August 28–29.
Schedules remain subject to change because of weather or other construction conditions.
Part of the Improve I-70 Project
The work is part of the $600 million Improve I-70: Warrenton to Wentzville project. The design-build project will improve approximately 20 miles of I-70 between Warrenton and Wentzville.
Construction is currently expected to be completed by the end of 2028.
The broader statewide Improve I-70 Program will reconstruct, rehabilitate and add a third lane in each direction along nearly 200 miles of the interstate.
