North Point’s Comeback Falls Just Short Against St. Dominic

The North Point Grizzlies nearly completed a remarkable comeback Friday night against the St. Dominic Crusaders.

Playing at St. Dominic High School in O’Fallon, the Grizzlies found themselves trailing 28–0 early in the game. North Point responded by putting its first points on the board and cutting the Crusaders’ lead to 28–7.

The Grizzlies continued fighting their way back into the contest. North Point narrowed the score to 28–21, turning what had been a commanding St. Dominic advantage into a close game.

The comeback ultimately fell just short. St. Dominic held on for a 31–28 victory, but North Point’s response after falling behind demonstrated the team’s resilience and determination.

The Grizzlies will look to carry that momentum into their next game.

Final Score: St. Dominic Crusaders 31, North Point Grizzlies 28
